A New Challenge: Venturing into the IT World from Real Estate

For years, I have been running a small, local business focused on tangible goods and services. I dedicated significant time to the real estate business, and when I graduated from university in 2017, I set a goal to achieve a six-figure annual income. I managed to reach this goal within two years and have maintained it ever since. With a stable income and a solid network, I followed my own path, but the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. As the world rapidly shifted towards digitalization, I began to question the knowledge and experience I had accumulated over the years.

During the peak of the pandemic, like many others, I started to wonder if my business model would remain viable in the future. People were spending more time at home, and the demand for real estate began to shift. What once seemed like a stable market suddenly became unpredictable.

As I reflected on these changes, I asked myself, “Is what I’m doing truly the most suitable path for this era?” The answer wasn’t clear. Despite generating a decent income, I realized that my own growth and development were being hindered. It dawned on me that I had been confined by the boundaries of my business administration education and real estate experience.

So, I made a decision. I decided to venture into a world I knew little about—the IT industry. Just a year ago, I thought “Python” was a computer brand, but now, I am determined to grow within this IT world. Through this journey, I want to document my growth and inspire others who might be facing similar challenges, offering them a bit of courage and inspiration.
